HID Access Control refers to the comprehensive physical security ecosystem from HID Global — covering intelligent controllers (Aero X1100/X1150), multi-technology readers (Signo, Amico), and secure credentials (Seos cards, mobile) — all managed centrally through an IAM platform such as iSecure. Mizuho Bank needed a unified physical access control system across multiple Chennai locations that could integrate with their existing HRMS, enforce zone-based access policy and provide auditable transaction logs to meet banking compliance requirements. The existing system was fragmented, relied on non-auditable legacy readers, and could not export attendance or access records to the HRMS automatically.
Security Shells Infotech deployed HID Aero X1100 intelligent controllers with Suprema FRS biometric readers at each location, managed under the iSecure platform. The iSecure HRMS integration module was configured to pull employee master data and push access events back, eliminating double entry.
