HID Elevator Access Control integrates the iSecure IAM platform with elevator destination-control systems — such as OTIS DCS — to restrict which floors an HID credential holder can access by elevator. When an employee taps their HID card or mobile credential at the elevator lobby, the OTIS DCS allows the elevator to travel only to floors the employee is authorised to access — preventing residents or guests from reaching private or service floors.
Residential and mixed-use developments need HID Elevator Access Control to enforce vertical zone separation — ensuring residents can only access their own floors, staff can access service areas, and visitors are restricted to lobby and amenity levels.
